caused by a carpet cleaner

Of 2017s most interesting problems a total shut down in an old peoples home being caused by a faulty carpet cleaner was the most intresting.
The amplifier feeding all 26  rooms was powered by one single mains point in a false roof space

retune time for freeview

Its time for another  freeview retune on the 2nd of august.
This could well go ahead with auto update but it may give you headaches with poor channels etc.
A manual retune is a method and something we may have done before otherwise the dreaded problem of a channel from a weaker transmitter popping into the scenario.
This can be just a minor inconvenience for us but the elderly who depend on their tv its a different matter

Please call us to arrange for a visit

Tv wall mounting

The main  issue is what type of wall you are thinking of mounting to.
Easiest is straight plaster on plasterboard isnt  recommend unless the space between board and wall is  say no more than  2 inches allowing  fittings into the wall directly.
Plasterboard fixings are all pretty useless,so dont  trust your tv to such flimsy material

Sunday, 26 March 2017

Minimum quality of co ax cable

Electricians tend to grab any old co ax cable and throw it into your house.
This often leaves you with  pixellation on freeview, the only way to cure it is to replace it,not an easy task if the cable is buried in the structure of the house
