One of our pet hates the dormer window and putting a tv point in it.
It is fine if the aerial pint as been allowed for a simple question of connection and bobs your uncle
Mostly though its a need for one and where is the cable going in to gain access.
Drilling into the dormer bad idea,possibly an entry pint via a roof tile,don't get us wrong it can be done but in some instances the customer says don't bother
